Food Court Operations

Auric Pacific Group Limited (APGL) now holds 57.8% of Food Junction Holdings Limited. Food Junction was listed on the SGX Sesdaq (as it was then known) on 19 November 2001 and upgraded to the SGX Mainboard on 28 October 2008.

The Food Junction Group was actually founded in 1993 and opened its first food court in Singapore at Bishan, Junction 8 shopping mall. Food Junction was among the first in Singapore to manage and operate food courts with a themed concept and serve a mix of local fare and international cuisine to give customers greater variety.

Food Junction core business is as follows:

1. The Operations and Management of Food Courts
Since the commencement of business in 1993, Food Junction has grown and established itself as a quality focused F&B service-management group. Being a food court management specialist, Food Junction manages the daily operational aspects of its food courts and food stalls. They also handle the marketing and development of the food courts like the food and tenant mix. The tenants only need to concentrate on providing and serving good food. They do not charge fixed rentals but take a portion of each tenant's proceeds instead. The tenants and Food Junction are like business partners with the same level of commitment. As Food Junction grows and expands, many tenants have also grown and expanded in tandem with the company.

2. The sale of food and beverages
To expand the scope of business, Food Junction started to operate some food and beverage stalls in the Food Junction food courts since December 1996. They operate stalls like the drinks stall, juice stall, chicken rice stall, local delights stall, roti prata stalls, noodle stalls and Omelette rice stalls.

Food Junction has also moved into new F&B concepts and restaurants, including the opening of a high-end Japanese restaurant in Singapore, Tetsu, as well as the acquisition of Malone's an American-style café cum restaurant chain in Shanghai.
