Our various businesses are well known in their own field. For example, Auric Pacific Marketing Pte Ltd and Auric Chun Yip Sdn Bhd provide marketing and distribution services in Singapore and Malaysia respectively. They have successfully assisted many global consumer goods leaders to build strong market share in these respective countries. Its business partners include household names such as Abbott Laboratories, Berri Juice, Goodman Fielder, Heinz, Kraft, Lee Kum Kee, Leggo's, McCain, McCormick, Sara Lee, Simplot, Amsterdam beer and Grolsch beer. We also market our own brands: Sunshine and Top-One bread and bakery products, SCS butter, Gourmet processed meats and Buttercup dairy spread.
Actually,
Sunshine and Top-One Breads are made at APGL’s own Sunshine Bakeries, one of
the nation’s most established and largest bread manufacturers having started
in the 1930s. Besides manufacturing these brands, the factory also produces
delicious buns, cream rolls and frozen food products including frozen
pizzas, garlic bread, pies and pastries.
In Malaysia, APGL, via Auric Pacific Food Processing, manufactures Buttercup dairy spread and margarine products. APGL then markets and distributes these products together with SCS Butter and a variety of food and beverage products via Auric Chun Yip Sdn Bhd.
APGL, via Auric Pacific Marketing, is also in the business of marketing and distributing leading wines (both fine wines and commercial wines), spirits and beers brands. For fine wines, APGL has exclusive distribution rights for several premium labels including Harlan Estate from California, USA, Aldo Conterno from Piedmont, Italy and Frederic et Michel Magnien from Burgundy, France. Other renowned brands in the portfolio include Robert Mondavi, Kim Crawford, Nederburg, Cono Sur, Tatachilla, Taylors, Placido and Grolsch.
APGL
also has a 57.8% interest in Mainboard-listed Food Junction Holdings Limited
which manages and operates a chain of food courts in Singapore, Malaysia,
Indonesia and China (under various brand names like Food Junction, Food
Culture, FJ Square, The Food Place and Food Garden).
In its expansion into food retailing, APGL acquired Délifrance Asia Ltd in December 2007 from Edmontor Investments. Délifrance Asia Ltd established its presence in Singapore in 1983, initially focusing on the manufacture of bakery products for wholesale customers. The first Délifrance Café at Clifford Centre in Singapore was opened in 1985. It has since grown to a network of over 230 stores in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, China (Shanghai), Sri Lanka, Brunei and East Malaysia.
